  • The Aircraft Warning Sphere/Aviation Warning Ball is a safety marking device installed on tall structures such as high-voltage transmission lines, communication towers, and chimneys, to alert pilots of potential obstacles.
  • Key Features

  • Our Aircraft Warning Sphere is available with stock spheres with a diameter of 600 mm. Other sizes, such as 300 mm, require customization. The spheres are made of PC+ABS material and are produced through injection molding. The Aircraft Warning Sphere is suitable for use on OPGW or ground wires with a wire diameter of 6 mm to 28 mm.
  • Aircraft warning lights are active-illumination safety marking devices installed on overhead transmission lines. They are primarily used to indicate the spatial position of transmission lines during nighttime and low-visibility conditions, preventing collision accidents between aircraft and transmission lines. In airport clearance protection zones, aircraft warning lights work in conjunction with aviation warning spheres to form a comprehensive aviation safety marking system.
  • At least 3 warning devices shall be installed on the line between two adjacent towers, with one device mandatory at the lowest point of the conductor sag (catenary curve) within the span. This marks the most hazardous lowest-height area of the line.
  • Our aircraft warning lights are suitable for transmission lines with voltage levels ranging from AC0V to 220KV. The obstacle lights are A-type and B-type low-intensity obstacle lights. The spheres come in sizes of 300mm, 200mm, and other custom sizes. The spheres are molded from PC+ABS material.
  • The helicopter landing pad navigation lighting system is a crucial visual aid for ensuring the safe take-off and landing of helicopters. It primarily consists of the following types:
  • Target lighting (TLOF – Touchdown and Lift-off Area Lights): Typically green, indicating the areas where helicopters land and take off.
  • FATO lights (Final Approach and Take-off Area Lights): Mark the boundaries of the final approach and takeoff areas.
  • Perimeter Lights: These lights indicate the boundaries of the areas available for helicopter landings. They are typically green in color.
  • Approach/Take-off Path Lights: Indicate the recommended approach direction.
  • Wind Direction Indicator Lights: Ensure visibility at night.
  • Obstacle Lights: These lights indicate the presence of surrounding obstacles and are typically red in color.

  • The wind direction indicator/wind cone is an essential part of the visual aids for navigation at airports; it indicates the direction and approximate speed of the wind on the ground, providing pilots with crucial weather information.
  • In accordance with Annex 14 of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) regulations, each airport must be equipped with at least one wind vane. Its installation location must ensure that it is not affected by air currents generated by nearby objects or rotors, and that it can be clearly seen from aircraft located at a distance of at least 200 meters.

The wind direction indicators come in options with lighting and without lighting; the working power supply with lighting includes AC110V~220V power from an AC source, as well as DC power from solar energy and batteries.
